But we both need access to the vehicle. My dads sole use vehicle is used for his work and he now has a car for leisure. When I say 50/50 I mean we can both have it same amount of time but he will do more miles etc. If they cancel it will they refund the rest of the money as he payed in full? I understand it's illegal if I use the vehicle for my sole purpose and I am by no means a law breaker! For me to have insurance separately and my dad to have insurance separately doesnt make any sense, that's what named drivers are for right? I don't like the thought of paying 2000 for insurance when I probably do about 40-50 miles a week.

I live in Western Massachusetts and will be 18 in July. I haven't gotten my permit yet, but I plan on getting it sometime in the next month to start practicing. I really hate Hondas with a passion and that kind of lowers the list, but oh well.. It doesn't really need all the fancy bells and whistles--just needs to be comfortable, cheap-ish insurance, and easy to fix. I'm looking into Buicks right now. My mom said she likes the Scion tC, and I don't really mind either (but it does look kind of girly). Any other good options? Thanks!
